2. Summary

AI Offline Photo Tools processes photos exclusively on your device. The app does not collect, store or transmit personal data to the developer or to third parties. There is no user account, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. The only exception: during the voluntary model download (see section 6) the download server receives your IP address as a technical necessity.

3. Photos and files

Photos you import are edited on your device. Imported images are kept as a working copy in the app’s temporary storage and are deleted when you remove the image or at the next app launch. Exported files are saved only to the folder you choose. Metadata (e.g. location) is removed on export if you wish. The app does not send images or metadata over the network.

4. Permissions

For photo selection the app uses Apple’s system picker. It only receives access to the images you select, not your entire library. For files and folders the app uses the dialogs provided by the system.

5. Purchases

The Pro purchase is handled entirely through Apple’s App Store. We do not receive payment data. The app checks locally via Apple’s StoreKit framework whether Pro is unlocked. Apple’s privacy terms apply.

6. Optional model download (Edit photo with text)

The “Edit photo with text” feature needs an AI model (about 1 GB) that is not included in the app. The app downloads it only after you have started and confirmed the download yourself – never automatically. Only the model files (and a file list) are requested from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) over HTTPS. The server receives technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address and the time of the request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, providing the feature you chose); photos, entered text, results or device identifiers are not transmitted. After the download the feature works fully offline. The model is stored in an app-internal folder (excluded from device backups) and can be deleted in the app at any time.

7. Local settings

The app stores on your device the number of free AI runs already used. This number does not leave the device.

8. No tracking, no sharing

No data is shared with advertising networks, analytics services or other third parties. The app contains no third-party SDKs for data collection.

9. This website

This website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit it, Cloudflare processes, as a processor, technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, page requested) to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare states that it relies on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. To defend against attacks, Cloudflare may set technically necessary cookies. This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising and does not embed advertising, external fonts or trackers. The app itself does not call this website automatically; a connection is made only when you open a link.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Because the app does not process personal data about you, we generally hold no data about you.

11. Children

The app is not specifically directed at children and does not collect data from them.

12. Changes

We will update this policy if the app or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
